Today is the last day of my first goodreads.com giveaway contest and I am so psyched that people have entered that I feel like I should offer to do their dishes or something in exchange. On the goodreads site you may have noticed that some of the reviewers coincidentally share the same last name as me. How weird is that? Kidding.But, in truth, the fact that my high school/college aged nieces were so positive about “Close” — was a little like winning a literary prize. Seriously. One of them called me to say she was crying while reading it.Which made me cry. You can’t ask for much more than that. Relative or not.
