it’s all about the buzz. and, of course, the book
Ugh, I’m putting on my Marketing Chapeau again. (Seriously, I’ve never been able to pull off hats of any kind — even as a baby I looked ridiculous in bonnets. And kerchiefs.)
I know that Close is so last year… but I would be very grateful for your vote in the TeenChoice 2014 Best Book Awards.
And…Per someone-in-the-know’s advice I’m going to re-run the following tips on supporting authors.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Helping Writers Write
1) Buy books
2 Review them on relevant sites. Applicable links for Close are Amazon, Barnes & Noble, GoodReads and LibraryThing. In this new wild west of publishing, where the response to art has (FINALLY) been democratized, the reactions of real people are critical. Rate other reviews, too. This gets figured into some cosmic algorithm. (I think.)
3) Ask if your local library and/or favorite bookstore carries the titles — or could.
